Firstly, we want to thank each and every one of you for your support of Rauora through the purchase of our first rauemi, Huamārama. Being our first rauemi, we've had many many learning experiences, and we continue to learn as we get to the final stages of sharing this rauemi with you all.
One of the biggest learnings we've had is that things are ready when they are ready - pērā i taiao, the fruits will be ready to harvest when they are ready, no matter what date we wish them to be ready on. Coupled with navigating this global pandemic and prioritising keeping our whānau and community safe, this has meant our timeframes have shifted. So while we are making positive progress on the last edits and design changes and very close to going to print, Huamārama won't be ready to send next week as we had been working towards.
The follow-on effect of this is that we are now in a new print window - delivery to us approximately mid-March, and shipping to you all immediately as soon as the boxes arrive with the courier. Looking at the positive hua, this aligns with the next Rākaunui phase and all the positives and energy that comes with that.
We sincerely apologise for the delay, but we want to reassure you we are actively working on the final edits and ensuring Huamārama is tika in every possible way, as this sets the precedent for the next resources that will follow. The kaupapa is bigger than we had initially dreamed, which is wonderful, but with that comes bigger responsibilities too.
If this new timeframe means you need a different shipping address, please reply to this email with the name you placed the order under and the new address you would like the pukapuka to be shipped to. If you have any other pātai or you would like to amend your order, please feel free to contact us through this email address and we will happily support you.As thanks for your continued support, we have made available a free digital download of one our recipes that you can download from our website www.rauora.org.
